SpiderZord, while playing around in a DyP test game, I noticed a bug in the "Domination Stats" from the Info. As you can see in this screenshot, the Territory % of all the civs adds up 114.2% It looks like the territory numbers are divided by the total land tiles, but I'm guessing the territory numbers themselves include coast and/or sea tiles. This was from version 3.5 beta on a game using a slightly altered version of DyP 1.10x beta 05 running under PTW 1.21f US.

Spidey: I'm at the school where I work (why the diff. ID). Checked the priors back to 3.2.6(last one I had work). All of them give me the false (Multiplayer Mode shutdown). PM me any ideas today, if you can and I'll try over week-end on de-bugging the American Civil War Scenario.

pdescobar - thanks... you're right, I forgot to strip out coast and sea tiles from the tiles 'owned' in the calc. Added to my bug list ;)
 
Spidy: Does your "MultiPlayer Mode detected" error work-around work? I can't get it to. However, if it does, just disable the name-checking feature and have your country-check go to number of players in the scenario data of the bix file for the 'country-title data to print. Then disable the kick to "bump out". I know I oversimplified, but I think you get my jist. As of your 3.2.6, there was no problem with this. I had a copy of the original zip file, but you can't get it here in the downloads section (defunct) now.
I have also found that if you created a scenario on a map created by earlier editor version, but converted with the new one (i.e. open and re-save) that seems to cause the "multiplayer mode" kick out, too!
 
I noticed a small bug when the program first starts. The close button 'X' does not work properly. When clicked, instead of closing out PB, it stills loads it up, however when you start a game it will not load. I am guessing this is due to an incomplete 'unload' sub in the opening form. Then not loading correctly is due to needed info from the first form when you click 'continue' in order for the rest to work correctly.

if I load one of my scenarios or start a new game and then click load in the powerbar
then I get a message "multiplayer mode detected"

(I'm using PtW1.21f and Powerbar 3.5beta)

why?
 
I have tried everything suggested, and its *still* telling me that "Multiplayer Mode was detected".

argh.
 
since I've reinstalled my system and civlization3/+ptw i get this error with civ3ptw 1.14f and 1.21f but only with the powerbar 3.5beta
if I use powerbar3.09beta (the newest version of powerbar befor 3.5beta I've on my computer) it works with civ3ptw 1.14f

Great download, thanks,

But when I click on the E=MC2 button it says:

Run time error '339'

Component MSFLXGRD.OCX or one of it's dependancies not correctly registered: a missing file invalid

What's wrong with it, and how do you speed up science production.

there is a button next to the E=MC2 box. I think, it is labeled 'C' but I could be wrong. Click on that and you will get an instant advance next turn in technology. Move the mouse over each button and it will give you a discription on what it does.

my advice is, don't click on the E=MC2 square as it has never done anything but help debug the program or something.

my advice to this quote is to make sure nothing about your leader has been changed. especially the leader's name. Use the default settings for the civ name and leader name. and you should be ok. It detects multiplayer mode when playing in GOTM games, and PBEM games, as it should.
 
Hey, great work Spider. You must work really hard to keep up with all the problems that arise.

I'm getting the 'Multiplayer mode detected' error when using this mod I created. Can you tell me what is wrong with it?

I'm using PTW v1.21f European and PowerBar v3.5
 
Just curious.....

Is there a version of PB or will PB work for the original version of Civ3?

Dont want to patch my version, so if a version could be provided, i would be really happy :D :) :D :) :p
 
i've reinstalled my system again (so Civ3PtW too) and now the powerbar3.5 works fine with ptw1.21f and 1.14f :)

(first it works on my computer, after a reinstall of my system it don't works and bring the multiplayer-message, after a second reinstallation it works again :confused: )
 
Power Bar doesn't work. I have followed the instructions for changing names, and it doesn't work. Your trainer works sorta of. THe Money works, the hurry works, but the science only works sometimes.. I am running windows 2000 if that makes any difference. I also have the latest patches..
