The subscript error has now disappeared with PB 3.5 beta on Civ3 v.1.29f! I have been using it for an hour now, and it seems to work! Thanks for all efforts, SpiderZord!!!

Thanks for the good news Loranga! I must of put 50 lines of debug code looking for that problem, v3.5 moved one line of code down two lines... the smallest change can change the course of PowerBar history... ;)

Now 3.5 works fine.

I commend you for adding a readme file but I have a few questions:

1. Can you change the year?
2. Does the square labeled "food box" do anything?
3. What does the "add new unit group name" button do?
4. What is the function of the default button that reads: Auto on "D"?
5. What does the "group" box do?
6.What is the function of the "neutral" button?

one glitch I had: I clicked on "SU" and my turn was advanced (similar to if I pushed the space bar)

thanks,
Ben E Gas

Are you positive that your turn advanced? (Look at the date to be sure). When I've used the command, it has appeared to advance a turn, but the date hasn't incremented, thus the turn has actually not ended.

Have you made a version for 1.14? I know you have one for 1.14f, but I can use that on my machine. The game chrashes if I try to install the newest patch so I only have regular 1.14. Any chanse you have a version for 1.14 only?? It would help a lot with mod testing...

1. No - only the game end year (I tried but there's too many places year related in memory tracking things like score history etc.)
2. No - other than identify the autoboxes...
3. Let's you create a name that can be associated with a set of different units. I was using it to group an army for teleport. It can also be used with the filter in the info box.
4. 'Auto on' refers to the checkbox to the left which toggles on all of the autocomplete/autosuppress functions. The yellow D button to the right will apply the current cities selected auto functions as the default for new cities. (For example, check the autocomplete production box & the autofill foodbox for your first city and turn on the 'auto on' functions. Press the yellow 'D' button and you will get a message 'Use the currently selected cities auto options as the default for new cities' (or something like that). Every new city or captured city will adopt those auto settings automatically.
5. Shows the list of Group names you have created with #3.
6. This button let's you label individual tribes as Neutral, Friend or Enemy. Those labels are then used to bulk apply changes to auto settings. For example, Shift-click on the 'neutral' button and it will change to 'enemy' (this has selected ALL civs as enemy - single click with no shift to set your tribe back to friend or neutral). Now select one of the enemy tribes from the pulldown and holding control key when you click on any auto setting (i.e. autosuppress research or city production) will apply those settings to ALL tribes labeled 'enemy'.

One day....documentation! ;)

-SpiderZord,

I would like to suggest a Civ III 1.29 Checkbox on the intro screen. It would make it less confusing to have a checkbox for all working versions.

Version 3.5 is much more stable! I've also tested it with the Double Your Pleasure mod and 3.5 hasn't errored yet.

Not sure if anyone has said this or not, but I get the error 9 after I completly destroy the Russians (Havn't tried others) and I install governers into captured cities and then I try to load PB to get an updated list of cities. I hope this helps some :)
*goes back to killing Greeks for declaring war on him when he dropped a nuke on the Russians*

I posted that before seeing that there was an update. I was using 3.2.6.
I'll check out 3.5 and get back to you! :)

I must congratulate you for this fascinating, great PowerBarUtiliy! But since you have created new versions of the PowerBarUtiliy-you have to know, that I always create special civ names, when I play-the PowerBarTrainer always shows me; "Multiplayermode is detected". I know I have asked you several days ago about this matter, but my question is otherwise. Is it able to use older versions than the present ones, that didn`t have this problem? Or will you create an version, where this problem doesn`t appear?

Thank you SpiderZord, and once again congratulations to this great utiliy

Ciao

Would it be possible to add a button that would check the production and food box of all cities of a civ? After conquering several civs, I have over a hundred cities and it gets tiresome clicking every box when I resume my game. Thanks, Spider.

Kurse - Hold Shift key when you check the box ;)
Other shortcut keys:
Ctr-click = all 'enemy' civs & cities (toggled with neutral/enemy/friend label)
Alt-click = all 'friend' civs & cities...

Baron - If I can find a replacement MP detection method, I will fix this problem. I think you can change the Civ leader name with the scenario editor & run your game as a scenario - just as long as you are not changing the leader name from within the startup screens. Has anyone tried that method? I'll check it when I can.

scottfisher - thanks for the feedback, I'll add to my list.

Civanator - I think some explanation is buried in the readme.txt somewhere, or you can see this post:
