Pre-poll: what do you expect for the Civ5 expansion to come?

They usually add espionage via expansion, and I've detested every implimentation of it they've added since it never fits the scale of the game or fits well period, so hopefully this time around they add the option to disable it from the start instead of putting THAT in another expansion.

I seriously doubt they add anything resembling religion from IV due to SPs and how culture already spreads. Maybe corporations but again, that was kind of a wonky addition that doesn't fit the game, really.

Civ V is already very full of stuff with how the SPs work. New civs, units, buildings, wonders could work but are easily handled via DLC.

Better AI and tweaks are the thing of patches.

You can't stop corporate game companies from pushing for cash, so an expac is likely but it kinda needs to have *some* content. Could bundle several civs, maps, scenarios, throw in random events and a couple of other minor fluff elements and call it done.

If there is an expac coming, it's probably already in progress and set for holiday release if possible. It's not like Firaxis is EVER good about distributing info so it's not like they'd necessarily announce it was coming.

I like the idea of a "random events" option, like natural disasters. How many times in history has weather had a major impact on world events? The kamikaze typhoon prevented the Mongolian invasion of Japan; the Spanish Armada was wiped out by a storm wilst invading England; even the White House was saved in 1812 from being burned down by the British by a freak tornado.

I'd love to have those kind of occurances as an option in Civ.
