Prebuild library's

I was playing the russians on a pangea map in warlord.
Anyway, i had quite some techs quickly and when i was 22 turns away from literature i started building temples in every city. When i had literature i swiched to library's and it took 4 more turns to finisch them in (almost) every city i had!

I ruled the game in every aspect for the rest of the game!

it depends a bit on the situation but if your civ is scientific, then prebuilding library's with temples is a nice strategy. I think this strategy will work up to monarch.

that works really nice when your scientific because i tried that and i too expanded my culture and was well on my to victory (of course mass amounts of immortals helped too )

Good plan, but don't make yourself too comfortable with this strategy. At monarch and up, AI can beat you scientifically even if you have a library in every city during the acient period. But this strategy could work on marketplaces and courthouses.

Doesn't Acclereated Production give you equal or an edge over the AI? At Chieftain the AI gets the edge but does it work on Regent and higher?

On regent, there's no production bonus for the ai.

Yes, but I know that there's something that fixes something doing "Acclerated Production" pref. I can't quite get it - just out of my hands...
