In the world of tomorrow!!
My last computer was running ME and now I got a new one that is 5 times faster and running XP. Ever since I loaded the Printer (Xerox workcenter XK35c); I can't for the life of me get it to work. The PC is recognising it and spools to the printer. When I run a test page... Nothing. Anything? I am out of ideas.

have you tried to download new drivers from Xerox's website? that would fix it, just becasue windows sees it, down't mean it knows what to do with it

Doesn't look like XP includes drivers for that particular model, so you will need to download them. That should get it working. (keep in mind though, printers are inherently evil devices)

Yup, I did download the new driver.... three times. I even deleted the port and did a clean instal. I don't know what to do.

Sometimes you need a special port setting in the BIOS for the parallel port. Like ECP, there are 3 settings I believe. Check the documemtation for that printer, then check what you are set at in the BIOS.

I just went and got a better printer. Ill let my kiks have the other one.
