So here I am, trying to install the utterly awesome BTS in my brand new PC when I got this message during the installation process:
Component: Default feature
Group of files: Warlordscomponent
File: E:\Data2.cab
Error: Data error (cyclic redundance error)
I don't know what I did wrong. I have Windows Vista, yet I installed Civilization 4 and Warlords without any problem. I have tried to uninstall Warlords and install BTS yet the same error keeps appearing.
In order to add insult to injury, my attempts to download a digital version of BTS trought Steam are futile since the goddamn thing tells me that since I don't have a registered version of Civ 4 on Steam I cannot download its expansions because I am obviously a pirate (nevermind that I got the physical version of the game on the launch day).
Any help guys?
