Guys a few questions:
1 - Does any of you use Photoshop 7.0 with windows XP professional? Does it work well? (I'm trying to find out if the problems I am having have anything to do with compatibility).
2 - Do you guys know where does the program saves it's temp files? I mean, I intalled it in my "D drive", and, as a new user, I had no clue that, in it's default, it kept the temp files in the startup drive (C drive in most cases, mine included). Well, before I started using the program today, I had over 1 gigabyte of free space; while using, I had a computer halt and an abnormal termination. When my PC restarted, I had only 8 megabytes of free space in the C drive, that is far below what it needs to run properly.
Whatever is that that the program has written in my HD, I can't find it. I looked for ".tmp" files and got nothing, I combined the search criteria to find any files over 1megabyte created in the present day and I still found nothing that could explain that loss of space.
I seeked for the files in the root and still no good. Damn, they seen invisible. i'm begining to fear that I'll have to format my "C drive" to recover my space.
(PS.: I always keep the option of showing the invisible files on).
Can anyone give me an idea on how to get rid of those files and get my space back without doing anything as extreme as formating my HD?
