Problems downloading larger game files

I use hotmail. I have been contacted by Romeothemonk who told me that he sent a file to someone who also uses hotmail. It seems that McAfee has started using a new program to scan the files and that it is rejecting all the larger game files. I believe that if you zip the files, it will allow them to go through. No amount of retries (the usual fix for a false virus check) will allow the file to be downloaded  so it looks like files about 100kb or larger will need to be zipped.

I've already got a gmail account however unfortunately the save was sent to my hotmail account so things get delayed...

I realise zipping may make files work but I would prefer it if people just sent to my gmail account instead Dell19 AT gmail DOT com since that way all I have to is download the save and play. Thanks.

Yahoo also offer a free email service with a large capacity. Disappointing how hotmail has changed but there was no notification email.

Nowadays Gmail seem to replenish the amount of invites pretty quickly so essentially you probably have unlimited inivites really...

Rcoutme, I just sent you the new turn for Nimitz and even when zipped it's 186kb. Looks like you may have to switch accounts if that's not getting through :(

Apparently zipped files are okay since they aren't reported as viruses on hotmail. However zipped files are annoying to have to zip up and unzip and I would rather use gmail to receive non zipped files so that all I have to do is download the saves and then I can play the turn.
