Problems Loading The Mod

I've got a bit of a problem, when I select the mod and then the game says it has to restart to load it so I basically say yes, then the game crashes and I get that window saying that CIV IV has experienced some kind of error and had to be shut down (you know the standard windows XP one)

What could be some reasons for this happening, and how could i fix it?

Hmm. Do you have Civ 4 Path 1.61 installed?

I dont really know, where should I go to check?

If you don't know, you probably don't have it.

But just in case when, you start civ4 go to advanced, then hit the latest version button (i think its there). The rest is self-explanatory.
