Before i was able to play other games like Skyrim, Fable 3, Crysis 2,Fifa 12, Nba 2k12, Etc., without having any problems.
But after buying and installing the Civ 5 Vanilla and GnK, I now experience a problem during booting my PC. It doesnt boot sometimes and will only boot after a considerable time has elapsed.
Nothing will show on the monitor and will produce a Beep with 8 short and fast beeps after. Further googling about it showed this: "1 Long, 8 Short Beeps = Display / retrace test failed. Reseat the video card."
Currently im using the same PC as I am posting this and it only happens after i Play with Civ 5 + GnK. it doesnt happen with other games or applications.
here are my PC specs.
Processor:AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory:4096MB RAM
Hard Drive:640 GB Wester Digital Caviar Black 64mb
Video Card:NVIDIA GeForce MSI GTX 460 1GB 256mb Cyclone OC Ed.
Operation System:Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Motherboard:Asrock 880 GM-LE
