Problems with control buttons

Kind of frustrated that some of the mods I like to play do have the control buttons at the bottom.

I bought the stand-alone version of Civ IV and BTS, hoping that would solve the issue. It didn't.

Running game on Win 10 with 8g of RAM. Any suggestions??

That should of been: do not have the control buttons at the bottom.
