Problems with geographical names

So I'm creating this map of the world for my mod, its an interesting little idea that will allow for deeper more expanded gameplay. but the main road block I'm coming to is naming geographical locations. I'm trying to place cities in places that have some sort of similar sized geographical name, for example, Ireland or Mesopotamia, Kanto, Korean peninsula, basically anything I can to name locations after the locations themselves and less where possible about the country that inhabits them, I understand this will not be possible in all cases. but I would like some help finding some names as my own search has been less forth coming,

Does anyone know where to get maps with geographical features named out?

naming places after peninsulas such as Iberia, Scandinavia, or other regions like Yukon or after rivers like the Ganges. Mountain ranges maybe? Hindu Kush etc?

Any geographical feature or named tracks of land that cover small to large expanded city, (preferably small for tighter areas like europe and larger for areas that can stand to be bigger, like Mesopotamia, Korean peninsula, in other parts of the world) The map you have provided seems very promising but it looks like it is africa only. if you have any other similar maps I would love to see them, At the moment I'll take a look at this.
