I am having trouble making units with the program Flcster. The read me said that i would be able to make my own units. But all i can do is open other unit flcs and edit them. Do i have to have another program to create flcs and then edit them with flcster?

Thanx for the help,

wildman

Maybe i wasn't clear enough on my first post.........

Im really asking..... can i use this program to make units? if so then how? or do i need to download a new program to make flc files and then put them together using flcster or what?

I just found the read me to be extremly vauge on that matter so i was hoping for a little help.

Thx in advance,
wildman

NO. you cannot used Flicster to CREATE units. It's only part of a process of many programs working together. Flicster is the last step, it converts the storyboards into .flc files for civ3 to read.

There are many tutorial threads on various gfx programs on how to go about creating your own work. Here's a warning: It can take a LOT, a LOT, A LOT of time to learn how to do it. It's not magic, just practice.

Ok thanks a lot.

If there are any tips or programs you have found to be much better at creating units please tell me what they are.

Thx for the tremendous amount of help,

wildman
