Hi everyone :)
I've been playing the game for a loong time, and I'm willing to modify the Tech tree, before some months it didn't work, and I've tried the new version it still doesn't work for me, I don't understand at all what's happening, I'm under windows 10 64bits, the moment after I lunch the Tech Tree editor I get this error

I really need help with the program to make it run, help would be really appreciated, I tried reading the comments in the orignal posts, having 25pages, just impossible to read 25 pages from 2010 to 2016 to find the correct answer that's why I posted, those who have same problem as well might benefit from the post :goodjob:

PS : I can't EVEN POST the problem in SPOILER tag due to forum limitation telling that I've posted 138 pictures .... this is the first part of it

Hello! I'm the guy currently maintaining the Tech Tree Editor, so hopefully I should be able to help you out! The existing topic has a lot of very old info in it - you're probably best off starting from the end and working backwards. The more recent posts are more likely to be able to help you.

From the error message, it looks like your asset path isn't set correctly. It should be the path to your CiV install folder.

Have you run ModBuddy before? If you have run ModBuddy but set your asset path incorrectly need to change your asset path, Nutty describes how to do that here.
