This is probably an overpowered idea, and I'm just throwing this out there. But when building things like "Wealth" and "Research" It'd be cool if a portion of it was turned into the respective resource (IE, Gold. Science.) as it is currently. But I was thinking that perhaps it'd be kind of cool if it actually had a build target and if you kept the process working towards it long enough there would be a "surplus" of that resource and it such as a small lump sum of gold or science. No doubt there will be processes for culture and faith in CiVI as well. I'm just throwing this out there. Critique all you like.
 
They're doing something similar in Civ VI. You can build faith in a project that I think was called "prayers", and you get faith each turn and then some boost on completion that gives great prophet points or something like that.
