Hello, I've got one quick question. Does production spill over in CiV? I have tested it a few minutes ago with a warrior switching over to a Monument in the beginning of the game (using the queque button). In the last turn, I had 6 production per turn and 36/40 hammers filled in. Next turn when it switched to the Monument, it started from zero hammers, not 2.

Now, I have seen that when you are using a Great Engineer, sometimes the next thing you want to build after the wonder you rushed has gone down by a couple of turns (for example you rush PT and the Pikeman right after in the queque list says it needs 5 turns instead of 8).

So is there a formula or something hidden behind this concept with the GE, or production does spill over but the UI doesn't show it?

Exactly, if you wait 1 turn, that monument will have 8 done, not 6.

if you checked out the turn after, you would be at 8/40 on the monument. it just doesn't show up in the ui until it has actually been applied to the item you're working on. you'll also notice that the brown production circle is partially filled in before you work on something, the fraction equal to your overflow.

Yeah, I noticed that last time I played. I thought it would show up immediately. Sometimes the UI doesn't help in such things though.
