Well, I'd like to propose that we settle a new city on one of the squares marked A or B. Just wanted to know what you guys thought.

WHoahWHoaWHoa!

I think we should wait until we see that black area north of that island, so we can see if that forset would be a good site. Yeah I think either A or the forest square would be nice. Good site for a port if there is fish and whales nearby. But A seems ot be good so far...

I think the forest square is good, but either A or B would work. I like B better but A is good too.

Really, you think "A" would be better? I kind of thought "B" would be better since it wouldn't overlap with Spycather's Radius. I don't know what does everyone else think?

Well A would be a better trade center, as it is a three sided port. That means lots of ocean trade. As well as easier accesibility for warships. But, we'll see what everyone else thinks.

Edit- Actually, who the heck founded Spycatcher? It should be on the forest east of it! It would be a better port, as well as not overlap with Sixchan.

It should be!
I don't know who did it but it was obviosly a mistake

Now I would vote for A but if there are special resources in the sea (which is now black) than B could be a good option because there'll be no overlap. Is there a trireme nearby to uncover the black squares?

Could we have the letters in yellow next time, please? It makes it easier to spot them when half asleep...Probably A but it depends what is next to B.

I vote for site B!

Since A has a shield and B does not we will "gain" one shiled by choosing B. It will also minimize overlap with Spycatcher and still make a fair city.

I think that Spycatcher was an "advanced tribe" from a hut.

Site "B" will actually reach MORE water for better trade, will not overlap with Spycatcher, and may have an additional "special" out there somewhere. Seems like the choice to go with.

Further, I don't like to settle on grassland squares with shields (such as the "A" spot). The reason is that your city square will automatically have a single shield on it, but this will not be additive with squares such as plains, forests, and shielded squares. Putting a city on a non-shield grassland in essence gives the area an extra shield to work with.

Edit: Sorry, I failed to see that Mr. Spice had already made this point. Sorry for the repetition.

One caveat: as already mentioned we should really explore the water around the area first. We may wish to settle on the forest to the NW of "B" or the grassland to the SW if it means getting an extra special. This could mean some overlap, but we'd have to weigh the choices at that time.

Same reason why i voted for B ,i'm almost sure there will atleast be an extra resource in that area.

Cool, my first vote :D

I voted for B as I doubt the forest to the north will provide any more resources in the ocean. I would like to know what it out in all that water before actually founding the city. Can we get a trireme to explore a bit with the possibility of re-polling if special resources are found?
