We have grown again and are expected to grow even more in the near future. See the city build locations thread for information on where expansion is likely to occur. This is of most interest to the Quirinal (sp?) province, which does not have its Southeastern border defined.

This poll will choose between two ways of defining the borders of Quirinal. In the attached map, the first means of defining the border is shown by the line, which would leave the captured Aztec cities outside of any province, or prompt the creation of a 5th province. The other alternative is to enlarge Quirinal to include all 8 of the planned future towns in the map as well as the captured towns.

The poll is presented as three options.
  • Plan 1a : Border as specified, create 5th province
  • Plan 1b: Border as specified, captured towns remain under Domestic control until province 5 created
  • Plan 2: Quirinal includes all 8 future towns and the two captured ones

This will be a gradated poll. If the sum of plans 1a and 1b exceeds plan 2, then the region will be split as noted, and either a new province formed or towns outside under domestic control according to the winner between 1a and 1b. If plan 2 has more votes than 1a and 1b combined, then the region will not be split, and the two "peace towns" will be in Quirinal.

If there is a tie, or abstain wins, then back to the drawing board, or at least a new poll :)

This poll will remain open for 2 days (48 hours).

Is it legal to withdraw this poll and replace it with another showing complete boundaries? I suspect this is the cause of both the low turnout and high % of abstentions. My fault, in too much of a hurry that day and didn't capture a new zoomed-out screenshot...

Wasn't there a planned size for provinces (as far as number of cities in each)?
