PTW Catapult upgrade bug

Denyd pointed out a problem with the catapult upgrade path in GOTM 31 (thanks, Denyd!):

I believe that the problem only affects PTW, but affects all classes (conquest, Open & predator).

The problem is that catapults will not upgrade to cannons: they will only upgrade direct to artillary. I will update the starting saves later on tonight.

If you don't build catapults or haev no desire to upgrade them, then this bug won't affect you, and you can play as normal. If you do have catapults that you want to upgrade, I can patch your save file: E-mail it to me at GOTM@civfanatics.net, and I will implement the fix.

My apologies for this -> I never build catapults, so didn't do any testing of this!

Replacement save files are up.

If you have started playing the game, please don't revert to these new files. If the inability to upgrade your catapults is going to cause you problems, then please just send me the save and I'll fix it.

If you have e-mailed me your save to fix, I had one where I tried to send the fixed save back via e-mail. However with 3 attempts, I got three failure notices.

If you have sent me your save and not received the fixed version back, then please PM me, and I will send you the link that you can download the save from.
