Warlord
I'm so looking forward to this, as I'm sure you all are. I'm been in intense civ training now for weeks and will continue at this until the big day that PTW is released (I'm soooo going to kick some donkey!) although my training is affecting other aspects of my life such as relationships, work and other pastimes etc...
My question though is one of a logistical nature. I mean, how will the games be played? Will everyone be playing a game at the same time (like networked games of Half-life etc...) or will it be a case of each player takes a move and then logs off, awaiting his turn again patiently. So if this latter case is true what if a player has to go out or go to work in the middle of a prolonged game? Will the other players just have to log off until a pre-arranged time to play again? Will this game rely on the players communicating and organising times etc...? This is not a problem for me, but I have this horrible vision of being quite some way into a lengthy game with several other players and then being let down by someone who can no longer play because of holiday or some such thing. This would really ruin my day!
Anyone any ideas? I can't find 'owt on the forums or FAQ's.
