The economy of England was down the tubes, and the King needed to do something about it, as people were being forced out of their homes and getting their land taken away all the time. Health was at an all-time low, and in order to supress an uprising King John IV had to help his people, and he wanted to help his people.

To: Alliance of the Isles members England and Ireland

Allies Normandy and Saxony have insulted us together.
Scotland has trying to be organising all of the North European powers into a common alliance to portect ourselves and promote our common interests.
In response both these nations has insulted us and Normandy has even gone so far as to dissolve all friendship between the Normans and Scots.

This is quite frankly intolerable and Scotland will absolutely not stand for it.
Our good intentions and attempts to promote friendship and cooperation were thrown in our faces by their hateful and paranoid leaderships!

Scotland has delivered a declaration of war to both the Principality of Saxony, and the Duchy of Normandy.
By treaty we ask that you both join us in pursuit of this war.

To: Saxony and Normandy

We have had enough of your paranoia.
We have had enough of your attempts to promote distrust, disunity, and hate that is prevalent through Europe.
You are little better than the Dark Empire of Spain.
We will not stand for your existance any longer and hereby announce our intentions to remove both your leaderships from power and install friendly and more trusting regimes - ones that would not be resistant to a North European Alliance both economically and militarily.

To: France

Saxony betrayed you in your war with Spain; and Normandy stood by and did nothing while you - their southern brothers - were invaded.
Now they seek to see France destroyed; they seek to see an all powerful Spain ruling the continent.
Does this not deserve punishment?

We think it does and have set into motion appropriate actions; will you join us?

To: Rome

While we have some differences with your leadership we know how it feels to be betrayed by Spain.
But we can not help we are afraid - for the Normans and Saxons support Spain and our attentions are focused on them for the moment.

To: The World(Ie everyone I know of and knows of me)

Now do you see the danger Spain poses?
They have betrayed yet ANOTHER ally, another supposed friend.

North America stops it’s wars. The Canadians propose a peace settlement and the Northern Alliance accepts a cease fire to discuss the idea. They are waiting on hearing back from the Canadians on their proposal however.

A new leader takes control of the nation of Thailand and quickly initiates long term plans. He renames the nation to Kerasut and begins a long wall around his nation. He also concludes an alliance with Geystral and Vietnam to secure his borders.

The Sumatran exiles stand up to their Geystral oppressors and refuse tribute. The Geystral take this insult and conduct an invasion of the two northernmost islands. They take the islands with Kerasut help but only after a fierce fight involving many, many casualties on both sides as the Sumatrans have been training for centuries for such a conflict. They also refuse to yield and fight to the man. After their victory on the first two islands the Geystral military was gearing up for the final attack when many former Sumatrans get pissed at their governments actions and revolt. They find it reprehensible that Geystral would attack their relatives after they had lived so long in peace. This causes the base of operations for the final invasion to be smack in the middle of the revolt and even some ships in port are burned by the rebels.

Japan finishes off the Barbarian Ainu to the north with a good amount of casualties. Then they begin an unprecedented program of raising the education of their society. The Japanese economy goes into the crapper but the rapid advancement of the Japanese intellectuals brings them into the iron age and then…. Right into the classical age!

Great Honduras sends it’s wisest men to the Galapagos islands and it marks the first time that a nations leader had taken active measures to allow his wise men access to the worlds most wild areas. Both the economy and the nations education are affected by this far reaching move.

In Sinhala the proposal for peace has been rejected by the Singhalese consul. His dedication to the Republic permeates the citizenry and in a patriotic fervor 200 men up and join the army in defense of the Republic. On the front the Ayaran army comes face to face with the fortification of Sinhala. They are stopped cold in all areas except they are able to overrun one fortress on the east coast that was undermanned. They continue to push there and the easternmost fortress is now in danger of being cut off.

In the Alps the war gets more interesting. The newly expanded Roman army counterattacks and takes a significant portion of land until the front stagnates in the high mountain passes. The Spanish finish off the Corsican defenders and then send their army and navy on an attack north of Rome. However the Spanish navy is intercepted by the more advanced Roman navy and decimated off of the coast of the Italian peninsula. The Spaniard retreat to Corsica with their tail between their legs. However they do succeed in getting the Saxons to come into the war against Rome, but only after Scotland declares war on the Saxons and Normandy.

The Mongolian civil war continues in it’s intensify as the 3 different tribes each attack with their own ideas for Mongolia’s future.

The Sicilians try to expand their holdings in Anatolia but soon realize that they don’t have anywhere near enough troops in the area to do anything, and even have to sit and watch as some of the border territories defect to the Assyrians.

Further east in the middle east the Persian army turns from their conquest of Medina and counterattacks the Arabian army. The battle lines move very little as the Arabians receive some recruits from the Medians.

Scotland declares war on Normandy and the Saxons following their refusal to declare war on Spain. This causes the Saxons to declare war on Rome for Spain and in response France, Germany and Ireland mobilize their troops fearing imminent general war in Europe.

England finishes it's great libray and the acculation of Knowledge propells that nation into the Classical Age!

The Japenese needed to improve their economy, it was in dire need of help. So they asked their scholars to come up with ideas. They introduced the Japenese fishermen to Nets and the Farmers to making Terraces. This allowed them to produce a lot more food. They also built more roads and markets to sell the food.

South Africa

The tribe was slowly but surley becoming a somewhat powerful nation. Especially in the education department, the Johannesburg library/ school would make it even more so.King Death wanted a powerful army as well but he needed money to do so, luckily for him the wonder would give him just that.

South Africa to Mauretania tribe to the the east: We are both nations under the South African sun. Perhaps we should sign a NAP, or possibly even?

To Scotland;
Shut your trap and stick t somewhere, we had a reason to attack you and a very good one. You are lucky we were nice and didn't kill you any further. Rome and I was no allies, learn before you open your stank breath mouth.

To France:
We mean no type of harm to you whatsoever. As a matter of fact, we would like trade between us to keep this actually possible.

To The World:
Rome and I was not allies whatsoever, we wanted to be one but as it seems they did not reply to our diplomacy, ignoring us. We took no risk. We are only asking that you stay neutral or on our side.
 
TO Spain:
If you look in your old papers you see that I asked for alliance.
You told me you had planned to attack me, but as a new leader was in charge of Rome you wanted an alliance instead....
