Tommrow I plan to go out and buy this for my computer.link. Cause I am tired of the 96 MB of RAM I have on my computer now. My computer users manual says that I need 168-pin SDRAM Unbuffered DIMMs. Now I have everything but the unbuffered part down. How do I know if this thing is unbuffered or not?

Well you can. But only because virtual memory exists. :) Look in the specs thread for more sad stuff about the stae of my computer.

Damn. I would love to buy from that site. But I am only 17 and do not own a credit card. :( So I have to buy all my stuff locally.

Get your parents to buy it.... I've bought from them, and was going to suggest it until I saw JimmyDean's post. It's worth the wait. I've had the module for, what, year and a half now? no, longer than that. No problems with it.

Hmm, maybe. Still might wait a while until I get the $20 my parents owe me so that I can buy two of these thing :hmm: :)

Yeah, Crucial makes awesome ram... Corsair isn't too bad, either, I have 2 corsair chips in my compy ATM... Crucial rux0rs the RAM world though.

MarineCorps, 133MHz SDRAM might not work for you. |Reason is, old P2 motherboards are known to have problems with one sided Pc133. My advise would be to visit Crucial memory configurator, pick your system manufacturer and model, and it will have right memory for you. At good price. Even their home page states "Confused about which memory upgrade you need?"

Little problem my father when I asked him said "no. I am not allowing you to use my card anymore." Hmm, wasn't aware i had ever used his card before. :hmm: Gonna have to buy it at Best Buy. With their $60.00 per chip :(

Hmm, not much of a differnce between the two prices. Through i would still much rather buy it online. I need a credit card.

EDIT: 3000 :)

Suggestion: Ask your father to buy you a refillable Visa credit card. That way his card number doesn't get used all over the internet and you can still buy computer stuff on the cheap.

Ok bought the chip. $41. Gonna buy another one very very soon. :D However currently I only have 160MB of RAM thanks to some idiot who labeled the 32MB chip that was in my computer already a 64MB and another idoit who failed to label the 64MB chip at all. Should be getting 192MB  Thanks all. :)
