But seriously, I agree and think that some moderation of the humour standards needs to come in. Just as there is moderation of discussion in OT.

The same standards that apply to posting in general (profanity, sexual content, etc.) would apply to the Humor forum as well. Plain unfunny stuff can't be moderated, but obvious spam attempts could be. Just because nobody gets the latest Dennis Miller reference to some ninth century Byzantine emperor doesn't mean it should be gone from the forum.
