I'm sorry if these have been asked before but after downloading a more recent version than I'm used to playing Ive noticed a few changes I had some questions on. First of all for some reason my missionaries arent starting automated AND I cant command them to auto spread. Is this a change? With how hectic turns can get later on I can see this being very annoying later. Also I could have sworn there were more civics that gave fixed borders, right now Im forced to keep divine cult just to keep resources I need. Did I just imagine there were more or was that really a change. Im not far enough to see yet (and since im playing the longest game, i wont see it for a long time) but will I have to personally spread corps as well later in the game? Also did the cap on cities get lower? Im currently running Monarchy and I'll probably have to drop back down to despot just to maintain happiness in my cities. 6 cities seems so low to me.

Btw I LOVE the change to cash. I finally have to pay attention and maintain my cash flow.

I am not having any problems with missionaries not starting automated (Ctrl-O option) and I can set them to autospread. Do you know which version you are playing with? Also did you know we were putting a new version up in the next couple of days?

By clicking on the religion tab (the praying hands in top right) I think its like F9 or something idk. It lists all the religions and have a look at your religion, then below it you will see a bunch of little x's and your city names which shows if its been spread there yet - also shows if they have temples and stuff I think.

Might be easier for you to supervise the spread this way.

I agree that if something has the missionary autospread broken then that'd be a pain in the arse. However, there had been some apparent confusion as to the meaning of no Non-State religion spread and I wonder if missionaries of non-state religions are not attempting to spread when that aspect is activated due to civic choices. It shouldn't be... but I can see how someone may have disabled their attempts to autospread when that was the case... So I wonder if you make sure that your civics allow the spread of non-state religion if your missionaries will be automatable once more.

That would be a much bigger issue for the AI if that's the case too.

I swapped from Divine Cult to State Church but I still cant automate them. The automate button itself is just not there. Weird.

Check your 'automation' tab in the BUG menu. (the little lady bug).
Scroll down a little bit and you will see a check box with "Hide Auto Spread"
Make sure this doesn't have an "x".

Im not sure if its hidden by default or not (lots of options are, which I disagree with). Anyway, each time you update to the current svn it will revert back to the games default. What you do is copy out the user settings folder first, (keep a copy of this folder on your desktop or wherever) and then after you update your svn, copy the user settings folder back into the game, and then you won't have to go through all the BUG settings again each time.
