[BNW] Question regarding combining great person abilities

I'm brand new to modding and I am currently making a new civ. I wanted to make a Great Person replacement that has the abilities of all the great people, founding religions, planting academies, etc. I planned to code a different polymath for each great person so that the AI would work fine (Polymath_Merchant for the great merchant for example). They would all have the same abilities, ie all of them, but still coded as seperate units. I'm finding that I dont quite understand what denotes the abilities for the great people for things such as popping a golden age age.

In the code for the prophet, there is a line that reads
<FoundReligion>true</FoundReligion> or for the artist
<GoldenAgeTurns>8</GoldenAgeTurns>. Is this all the game needs to denote the option in the UI for the custom unit to be capable to found a religion or starting a golden age? I understood the promotion and build type for great improvements and combat bonuses. I was unable to find resources elsewhere that cleared this up. Any help would be appreciated.
