I think I may have downloaded Mirror 1 of the up to date patch for Civ3Con. I want to confirm this so I don't accidently download more than I have to.

When I select the Mirror 1 link, it doesn't do anything. When I select the Mirror 2 link, it asks if I want to open, save, browse, or cancel.

I believe it does this because it recognizes Mirror 1 to be a document that I already have and doesn't recognize Mirror 2 because it's name(the only thing) is different.

Is this probably a sign that I am right? And what is a difference between the original C3C that I can test to confirm this further?

Someone Help:confused: Thank You!:thanx:

Mirror1 link:

Shouldn't a link to the file. But then, Mirror1 is hosted on Atari/Infogrames' site, that may be the issue.

You can check if you have the patch installed as it will say 1.22 in the bottom right hand corner of the C3C title screen. If it says a different number, then you haven't yet installed the 1.22 patch.

There is a problem with the infogrames mirror (Mirror 1). It should also ask you to open/save/browse/cancel (like it does for Mirror 2) but doesn't appear to link to a file anymore, at least it didn't when I tried it a while back. You need to download and save the file then run it to install it. So use Mirror 2, choose save, then after it has finished downloading run the .exe file to install the patch.

If when you choose save it asks you if you want to overwrite an existing file then you have already downloaded the patch and just need to install it.
