Questions from returning player

I haven't played Civ V VP for a long time, because of, well, life. On the latest patch, what's the easiest Civ/Map to beat Deity with, with standard map size/ speed? I'll start on the easiest level and work my way up. (Last time I asked, it was Songhai/Pangea, going Authority.)

My bet would be Authority on Pangaea, because combat has the biggest potential to gain an advantage over AI. You could try Greece with recently buffed Hoplites.
