Can "Quick Combat" be turned on/off during a game?
As it stands, you have to select it when you set up a game. I haven't been able to find any other way to change the setting through INI's or whatever. This is a REAL annoyance for me, because I'd really rather leave it off. However, in battle-heavy games, or if I'm in view of 2, 3, or 4 AIs at war, I have to sit through a ton of boring combat that I don't care about.
I can't believe it's not an option that's available through the regular options menu. I'd like to be able to leave it off, but be able to turn it on if a game's combat is getting out of hand...as is often the case in late eras.
Let me know if I've missed anything obvious, or there's some way to alter the setting. If there isn't, please post in this thread if you agree. Maybe we can get the devs to implement this.
Thanks!
