When you start a diplo dialog with the other sponsor, look down near the bottom of the screen, under their picture. You should see a cluster of 4 small boxes, which are the personality traits that the other sponsor has adopted. You can mouse over them to get a little explanation. The mouseover / tooltip text will explain two things: what the trait does for the leader, how it affects their like/dislike for you.
