Rallying call for all interested: Colonisation of the Moon mod!

Thanks, my brother really wants to play with turrets.

Good, he can playtest to see if they're balanced or not. I tried to space them out and hope to add three more upgrades. It'd be great if could tell us if they're too easy or too hard to kill. I set them 1 pow behind units of the same era, but they get bonuses from defending and attack bonuses against most unit classes.

Let me know if I forgot to send anything that he needs in the next hour or so.

I was looking through the python of Sevo's Fusion Mod, and I wash oping that I'd be able to transplant the RealFort scripting. I put it under ...\Assests\Python\RealFort.py but it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

Note: I've already transplanted the XML code correctly. I double-checked.

Don't take this the wrong way, Drakonik, but this is *so* not what I'm interested in spending my time on at this point 8).

Eh. Not important. Just though it'd be nice to be able to have the RealFort mod and this one.

I done making the grid for all the terrain. I also managed to significantly decrease the file size of most of the terrain(some files are one quarter of the size the were before)

As we have to make our own map script for the moon and we are not experts like firaxis our map script does not run as effeciantly as a firaxis map script. Also, we are loading completely diffenent grachics then vanilla civ and many of our graphics files take up more memory, thus lengthing load time.(Lower end graphics cards sometimes have some graphical issues because of this)

I hope to work on lowering the load time in the future.

OK, no problem, I just wanted to make sure this was not an isolated problem. No criticism intended, for an alpha release this mod rocks!:D

GRAWWR, i am getting issues using the original models, they do not accept my new skins (pink models) and do not accept using a copied version o fthemselves, i am giving up for now. rawr

Thats to bad. Are you going to try again tommorow?

Ok, I have updated the state of the Python code on the Code Extensions thread, along with my current production queue. Feel free to check it, comment and kabitz or request shifts in ordering, as appropriate. Weekend is coming up, so I expect my break neck pace of the last four days will slow as I go have fun 8).

P.S. I have finisehd the merge a few hours ago and given control of the master mod to Matthewv. Thanks to Matthewv and Robby for their help and support during the merge process 8).

I like the turrets. they work well, and no they are not too hard to kill. I think you should leave them the way they are. :)

Excellent news. Thanks Robby! :D

How did everything else seem? We need a full report. ;)

I can't wait to try all of the Python goodies. Great coding Belizan. Now we can come up with new things for you to work on. :p

But the more we play and others play that list might have some things we can push down the queue.

You ever sleep?

Could be. I've been doing forensic programming all night. Meant to take a break.. but... I was trying to figure something out, which lead to figuring something else out.. and on and on...

As for sleep, I'm about to right now :)

Matthew has the master copy now, but if you're impatient, I could put up the files I gave him on filegone before I go... He was up modestly late, so I don't think you'll see him for anotuer 3-4 hours.
