Rallying call for all interested: Colonisation of the Moon mod!

An inbetween: do you guys have the same revert-to-vanilla-terrain when toggling the grid, or is that just my graphics card?
 
alright! so what is the plan on polishing it? are we accepting suggestions from "the public" or using a voting thread?

i think we should have a seperate voting thread where we take the suggestions from the public and comment/vote on them.

@geomodder i think we didnt do any grid graphics, maybe we can override that by using the same terrain and calling it _grid or whatever unless JBG alread postedit

The weird thing then is that *some* terrain already shows as without grid... the mare basalt terrain IIRC.

Oh, it seems the "freeze on nick highlighting" also happens with other civs. Just tested it for NASA.

Okay, getting too hungry now... must eat!

And dsquared, the minute you can play some and let me know how far off/how close the units are to what you want that would be great. I didn't reinvent the wheel and tried to cram your ideas into what I had done weeks ago.

We still need spies, planes, and siege. I hope to do some siege tonight after I play some. :p
 
woodelf you are hereby in charge of the voting thread

on units: my hope is that they are sufficiently far apart to warrant 'chasing' a tech to find a counter but not so far apart that you are decimated before you can defend yourself adequately. still cramming/watching thread/not cramming

I can do that!

The units are there, have counters for each other, and have promotions. We'll see how balanced they are. The Defense Cannons still don't upgrade and I haven't even thought about them yet!
 
I'll look into it.

The thing is, the whole mod is in the order of 58 megs and I don't have a filegone account... :cry:

This was a temporary elastoplast until some kind soul can give me a collated uplink!
