I've searched the forums and found similar, but not identical problems to mine. Maybe I missed it. *shrug*
I'm getting apparently-random crashes in Civ IV. They result in a total system lockup, with a blue (color of a BSoD, without text) screen, followed by one or two quick screeches from my speakers. Keyboard is non functional, and no GUI is present. Hard reset is the only way out.
Other than the official patch, no other mods are installed.
