? re Marla Singers World Map

Greetings all . . . .

I started a campaign game as the Americans vs 7 random Civs on the above mentioned map. I lucked into the fact that I was alone in NA and found SA unoccupied as well. Enough of that . . . my question is . . is it normal on that map for there to be absolutely zero horse tiles in all of the Americas or am I the victim of extreme bad luck?

There were no horses in the Americas until the Europeans arrived.
