re: Zooming for the map editor?

Is it possible to zoom out the view in the map editor mode? I find it very difficult to compose a map when using the close in view.

Unfortunately I don't think it's possible to zoom in or out with the map editor. It would have been nice if that feature had been included (like it was with the Civ II editor), or at least if they had included a mini-map feature.
