Hi people
i've been looking for new thematic pictures for diplo windows for my upcoming 2001 scenario and decided to ask this forum community - is there anybody who would like to "draw" it for this scenario in one style? for example, if you download my 1901 scenario you will find all diplo pictures as white-black old pictures of capital buildings with colorful cote of arms ... my 1941 scenario and 1961 are color pictures of government symbol-buildings with little flags ... now i want 2001 scenario with something special ! What do u think?

Hello max. I suggest leaderheads or each country's parliament.

I would suggest a path where it starts at the present with the F-22 Raptor and then at the very end of the tech tree, we see early Mechs like the MechWarrior ones start to become available as well as laser artillery. Also I would like to see SDI become something which each country has a chance to build, sort of like with the Manhatten project, and once, they build it their air defence has a chance of destroying a nuclear missile. Also I would like to see some upgrades as Stealth ships. There should be very few battleships if any at all, as so far as I am aware the Iowa class was put into mothballs after Vietnam. I think the DDX project should be included, Sea Shadow, and that. I was wondering though whether it was possible to produce XML code where you could vary the stealth values of units in the mod so that a B-2 Stealth Bomber is not as stealthy as say an XF-82 (Made up designation by me, perhaps for a future fighter-bomber) or not as stealthy as a B-12 Blackstrike (Again made up but who knows when we get that far into the future).

Hi Max,

I love your mod. Would you please consider fully integrating Dale's Comabt Mod into your mod? The added functionality would be superb and stacked unit combat is a must for any modern age scenario. Thanks.

And, just to add, I won't be buying Warlords either.

And if you are thinking of adding any futuristic technology (space age, robotic stuff), would you consider releasing a version sans the Jetsons? It just kills the realism of the experience for me.

The whole idea of adding in the futuristic technology is that it won't be fluffy jetsons stuff. It will be giant mechs and laser infantry, and tough laser tanks and artillery. The sort of stuff that isn't really that far off from the world today. There are on-going experiments into bipedal combat suits that may be seen on a combat field soon. There is a photo at Whitesands of one unit designed to give more strength and speed to a human on the moon. Presumeably it is now on display because it is obsolete. At least that is what I am hoping. For some real killer units that make it worth getting up to that late age. Is the modern age in Civilization IV any worse that a future age? The modern age is absolutely bad, no paratroopers, artillery doesn't bombard that far, nothing between it and mobile artillery usually. The Battleships only bombard 1 square around them, and then only onto cities. No cruise missiles in the default game, and an attacking fighter unlike C3C never shoots or even wounds a defending fighter. C3C did the modern age better in some ways. So Republic-an while you are at it would you like a version sans anything from about 1945 through to now while you at it?
