I don't see a thread for any new games. Maybe I am missing something or there is not currently any games getting started up. Anyway, I am interested in joining when a new game starts.....Thanks!

If you're so eager to play, start a succession game yourself .
In general, people can't reserve slots before the game concept is formally posted. But monitor the forum, and when you see a new SG, join!

Hrm, maybe we should start a "I GOT NEXT" thread ... each new SG is required to take the oldest posters in it ...
