Real Locations

It kinda bugs me that i have to mod if i want to have a true starting location on a regular earth map

All the mods i have tried always crash and always slow the pace of my game down while using a normal game with no mods i start in strange locations but at least it never slows and never really crashes

Why cant the devlopers add an option to start in the correct locations?

Having said all that i have just started a game and landed in north scandanavia and the barren waste land i inherited as really given me a great challange and given me the best war with napolean i have ever had

I only play on level 3 at the moment but this was was 50/50 and on this level i usually have no trouble in wars(get away with silly mistakes while im still learning) but this one broke a sweat great stuff

I second what you are saying, this is my one true passion with all the past civ series of games. I get so much more immersed in the game when it feels like I am building an empire on behalf of my own country. I suppose this makes me a sad old git, but I can't help my feelings of National pride!
