Really Stupid Question

This is probably the stupidest question ever but... how does one know what kind of graphics hard he/she has? I want Civ 4 but not if my graphics card is one of the ones that doesn't work. Thanks... this can be locked when answered.

P.S. I know i have a graphics card of some kind.

The way I do it is to open the RUN option in the start button and type in dxdiag A box will come up with a buch of your computer information and your graphics card is in the display (something like that) tab. Hope it helps
