recommended specs?

I cant seem to find any anywhere. Lookin to get a new lap top soon, and I just want to make sure that if for some reason Civ V needs some heavy duty gear, that I get a computer with all the proper accoutrements...

And I'm not particularly tech savvy, for any who feel the desire to go in depth about anything technical.

Try this thread. It's right on the first page of the forums and called "presumed system requirements". Then there's this thread, called "system requirements?"

And essentially, we have no real idea what the system specs are, point.
