Somehow, the idea of vanishing the entire empire just by killing a king or a queen is not one of my favorites.
I thought it would be something like when I kill a king, his empire will fall into barbarian hands(the rest of his cities), or split on two parts.
First loyal to the goverment in the conquered capital(or a civ who killed a king), and the other filled with barbarians(no legislative and useful government). Even the third part could exist, with old civ in a few cities that are still loyal to the old government and a new elected king. The game would be much more realistic.
This way I kill a queen in Paris(the first on my conquer list), and the rest of the empire simply dissapears. I find that extremly stupid especially when it happens in 1960 AD. So in 1960 I have half of the continent empty.
Is there any way this can be changed?
Thx.
