Religious belief effects not showing up?

I seem to think I have seen something about this posted but I have not been able to find the thread. I hadn't really paid much attention to religion before now, but trying Choral Music and Lay Ministry for the first time, I note that mousing over the relevant district/buildings, there is seemingly no additional culture or faith being generated; also my top-left-screen culture and faith numbers did not increase from the turn in which I implemented the belief to the next. If I set my city to work that tile, the empire-wide faith number does increase, but not the culture one.

So is this actually being accounted for but just invisible where I'm looking? Or is it truly broken?

Can you post some screens, maybe of the city info panel (the one on the left side) with district and buildings info?
