This looks pretty cool. I'll sign up.

Since the formation of the great crusade things have gotten nasty. Ideally you will sign up but not join the empire. Then once we win you can stay in green and control the green faction. That way green and outcast can coordinate.

If you sign up post your ingame name here so I can message you.

Strelok.

I don't really know what to do, to be honest. I dispatched a expedition, but that's it. Any advice?

My ingame name is ArrowGamer.

The game is complex and interface is cumbersome, but feels promising. Joined it a few hours ago by randomly selecting a faction, which luckily turned out to be the same faction you are in... but I am on the opposite side now :)

Sorry that I have to bring the following. That's what the guys there are telling about you:

Wow, so that is where altar was recruiting his "allies". All he wants to do is
seize control of the faction. Well, now we know who his buddies are. We may
as well leave them alone for now though, as they can do no harm in their
present state. <name>, I thank you for joining the right fight. Altar is a well
known cheater, liar, and backstabber on this game. He has been banned
multiple times but is always somehow forgiven the next round. He basically
attempted to recruit you guys for his own personal gain.

Now, is there any way that you think you could convince any of the other civ
fans to stop following his lead? We need all the support we can get, as Altar
continues to grow his mindless army.

[...]

I wouldn't stay associated with Altar/Mandated if you have been in contact
with him. He brought down 12 men with him due to the fact that he wanted to
make his way back into the faction, even though we do not wish to have a
backstabber in our faction.

[...]

Multi accounting is not allowed, that is one of the reasons that altar was
banned before.

So if there are still people here who are interested to try this game and looking for a side to join, consider the "Caeleth Confederation Loyalists" empire of Caeleth faction. The guys there seem to be nice and helpful.

Here comes more... :)

Altar The Cheater

Altar, using multi accounts and the like to spy on enemy HW's, gain
information on all of their colonies, and hit them when they are at most
weakest, has shown that he does not like to follow rules. He plays to win,
and will bring himself down if he has to.

Altar The Liar

Altar, conning his own faction out of their funds, population, and resources,
in order to obtain his goal of victory. He does not pay you back in return,
nor does he thank you for your contribution. When he is caught guilty of his
crimes, he is punished and all that you have contributed is lost.

Altar The Traitor

Altar will stop at nothing to win. He will make pacts and deals behind your
very back with you at the aim of the goal. He will let enemies slip by and
conquer you, while laughing and saying "It's a legal tactic" even though it is
the most hated tactic.

Altar The Helpful?

You may think he is helping you, but by going to two separate out of game
forums, he recruited you to do his bidding. He wanted you to join, to
support him and allow him back into the faction that so dreadfully hates
him.

Altar may have said that he was the initial president and we used buggy
mechanics and whatnot. He took you down along with him in order to
attempt to achieve his goal. You think he will stop there? No, he will
continue to drain you and force you to fight a war that is crushing for both
sides. We may have booted Altar, but this is a war game. Backstabbing is a
legal tactic, said a person we all know dear. We gave him a taste of his
own medicine, at the only possible time we could have done it. In a
message, he referred to the member of civ that joined us as a "douche"
and is now trying to coerce him to leave. Sadly, this will not work, as he
already knows the complete truth about Altar. Rulers rise and fall, it is his
time to fall, whether he likes it or not. He is using his leverage amongst you
by acting as though his helpfulness is a buffer to prevent you from turning
against him. Now where was I? Altar the cheater, the liar, and the traitor.
Believe me or not, it is up to you, but either way he will crash and burn. I do
not wish harm to come upon anyone other than Altar.
