Replace Cartoony Animated Leaders with static PNGs?

Hey all. I am wondering if a mod already exists which replaces the ugly cartoonish animated leaders that take so much away from the game (for me). I'd rather just have a historical photo or art replace it which looks more serious and historical... like in Civ 2. Does this exist already or should I try to make from scratch?
