Request: 20th, 21st, 22nd century mod/scenario

I thought I'd post my mod/scenario idea just in case someone's looking for mod ideas or wants to comment on it.

The main idea is to simulate the 20th, 21st, and 22nd centuries. The game begins at 1900 on Earth, perhaps using Marla's great earth map. You wouldn't be able to play every civ, just the world powers at that time, for example England (the most powerful), Germany, America, Japan, France, China, or Russia. Their territory would include all of their colonies and possessions too, for example England would include India and S. Africa, and France would include Algeria. All of the rest of the territory would be owned by "minor" civs that weren't playable, and couldn't develop.

Because the game starts at 1900, the entire tech tree earlier than 1900 is cut off. That means there's a lot more room for the tech tree to develop after 2000, providing the capability to simulate tech development through the next couple of centuries. Here are some ideas for that development. (Mainly borrowed from sci-fi books.)

2000 - Advanced Military Hardware
"Robots controlled the skies..."

1. Joint Strike Fighter
2. Blackhawk helicopter - transports 2 units
3. Air Sled - a robotic drone that packs the same wallop as a JSF but at 1/3 the size for 1/2 the cost
4. Scramjet Sled - Air sled with scramjet, which gives it increased range

2050 - Bolo Age
"The giant machines couldn't be stopped..."

1. Mark I Bolo - Huge tank with lots of offense and defense
2. Mark II Bolo - Huger tank
3. Mark III Bolo - Hugest tank
4. Undersea Carrier - Fast troop transport/submarine
5. Sea Bolo - Floating bolo, artillery

2100 - Mech Age
"This is my mech. There are many like it, but this one is mine."

1. Jackal Mech - First mech
2. Tiger Mech - Fast mech
3. Gorilla Mech - Tough mech
4. Dragon Mech - Fast & tough mech
5. Dolphin Mech - Underwater mech
6. Railgun Artillery - Takes out bolos
7. Railgun Battleship - Floating railgun

2150 - Holtzman Shields
"The slow blade penetrates the shield."
(All other units are completely ineffective against a holtzman shield.)
1. Shieldsman - High defense, low offense
2. Maurauder - Equal offense, defense
3. Mentat - High offense, avg defense
4. Ornithopter - carries these guys around

Haven't thought about strategic resources yet, but i think you'd definitely need some resource to make a Bolo's durasteel, a Mech's railgun, or the Holtzman shield. (Maybe you'd need two resources for each of them.)

For wonders/improvements, some ideas are:
SolarSats - orbital power satellites, add to commerce
Apollo Landing - free tech
Moon Base - extra happiness
Spaceport - Requires airport, extra commerce
Singularity - AI, gives research lab in every city
Butlerian Jihad - extra happiness, makes Singularity obsolete
Mentat Training Camps - allows constructing mentat unit

Just some ideas... hope they're of use to someone...
