REQUEST : Disable or reduce Barbarians by game era or turn number?

Barbarians cause massive turn lag later in the game. But they are fun to have in early game. There are mods that can reduce the number that spawn during the entire game, but is there a way to reduce them by era, eventually disabling them completely say in the modern era?

There is one mod that was posted around the release date like this. I use it, Barb Reduction Over Time is what it's called after downloaded.
