Chieftain
Hi all,
I'm wanting to create a mod to change/add/remove some unit promotions from the vanilla game, R&F AND the recent Warfare Expanded Complete Edition mod for personal preference. I have absolutely no intention of uploading this to the Steam Workshop so rest assured any input/ideas from any experienced modders that provide assistance will be strictly for my own personal use!
I have drafted a couple of mod sql and modinfo files for this, however as I am very inexperienced with Civ VI modding, particularly for making changes such as contained in my draft files I would like some "expert" assistance to ensure that this goal is achieved without creating any incompatibilities or other unforeseen issues. To date the only real modding experience with Civ VI I have gained is in changing or adding values in base game, R&F and some select mod files, after backing the originals up first of course!
Please, if any experienced modders could look at the attached files and offer ideas/suggestions/advice/guidance on what they are lacking or could otherwise use in order to work I'd be very, very appreciative.
It's been almost a couple of months now since I last played Civ VI and I would very much like to get this project completed before I try to play again, as some changes to mods on the Steam Workshop recently have meant that my previous mods list and gameplay preferences are no longer viable for me to use.
Please and thank you!
