Assume we have our dds files ready to go:
I've seen a couple tutorials, but one tells you one way to do it and another tells you another way, and none have worked for me unfortunately.
I realize this is a tall order and one that takes a lot of time and effort to do, but I and many others would be eternally grateful
..
- What steps do we take in asset editor to get them loaded to the mod and .tex files created.
- Description/Purpose of .artdef, .xlp, mod.art.xml, .dep, and .blps and how they work with each other and how the game reads them.
- How to create/How ModBuddy creates each of these files (how files are created in Platforms folder)
- ModBuddy mod properties actions needed for each type of art (Front-end/In-Game actions)
- Steps for Leader Fallback/Leader Background/etc. where the game uses each of these (Civ-Selection/Loading/Diplomacy)
- Steps for Icons (Building/District/Units/UnitFlags/Leader/Civ) [Civ-selection screen and in-game]
