Map resizing of an already made map without losing any of the already placed cities, units, resources, etc ?:

Is there any way I can resize a map to make it slighty larger. Specifically I have a map for a scenario/mod I'm working on. In the C3C editor I would like to be able to add, for example, a few rows of squares on each of the four sides, thus making the map higher and wider.

Reason is I screwed up and some of my cities are just on the edges and looks OK in the editor but when I play one can hardly see those squares and gets very hard to manage units around them.

If you use Quintillus' cross-platform editor you should be able to do that. If not there are on or two older utilities, but they really don't handle cities and units well.

Yes ! I Logged in at this time to say I found the excellent tool that does it: Steph's Civ II expanded Editor.
This tool allows you to add columns to the West or East and Lines to the North and South ! Just what I wanted.

I tried downloading the Cross Platform editor earlier today but the download link doesn't work.... OK I just tried it again and it did download; I'll have a close look at it too.
