Would it be possible to be the middleman on a luxury or resource deal? What I mean is, If you have a source of Iron, and trade Civ A for another source, you could ship that Iron off the same turn to Civ B?

 If you have Fe (or any other strategic resource) you can´t buy more of them. I guess that you can pillage your own Fe resource, buy a new one, reconnect the Fe resource and then sell to another civ. I am not sure what you mean?

E.g. If you don't have Fe and buy it for civ A, you can sell it to civ B, but it only works if you don't have it.

I'd like to see a system where civs who are getting their roads used in trades between neighbors get a bonus or something, because they have more fronts to defend. I know, wrong board.

You can do it in the other order. You can sell your only Iron (or whatever) to Civ B and then go buy it from Civ A. As long as Civ B is greater in size than you are, it's a pretty good deal. You run some risks (reputation, loss of a resource, etc.), but it can be done and can be useful.
