I've been creating resources for my civilization III game mods for over 10 years now, which I've recently started sharing here on Civilization Fanatic.
There were resources that were missing from the epic game and there were resources that I didn't like graphically, so I made a more attractive one.

For example, I didn't like gold, ivory, wine, uranium, etc. resources in the game, so I created my own versions.
But natural gas was missing from the epic game, I had to make it so that it would be included.

Ussualy, I worked with images saved from the Internet, created them from them, made them part of the game, making minor and major mistakes. Now, looking back more than ten years, the much file is not perfect, so I plan to find the files in my archive from which I created the given files and recreate them in a much better quality, which I will share with you here.

I already created one of the resources, luckily I found the image file I made the small version from so I was able to make the big file I recreated

Natural gas file history for civilization III resources:
I searched a bit back, found the original file from which I created natural_gas_SM.pcx back in 2010. At that time, I was still a beginner in the field of file creation, so it was difficult for me to solve it. so that the gas cylinder appears in front of the original civIII background on the large file. Now in 2023, the new version of natural_gas_LG.pcx was completed, which can be inserted into the game in a more demanding way than its predecessor.

I have already made the natural gas resource available to you, you can download the latest version here:
Natural Gas 1.01

:goodjob:The first picture shows the 2010 version, the second picture shows the new version.

Similar to the natural gas resource, I would like to update the previous resource files that I created in order to publish them in a demanding form for the civilization fanatic community. I hope you find useful things in it for your own mods or games.

unartis, I like your Ivory_S resource. It is looking better than my current resource for Ivory in CCM. :)

@Civinator

I found the original image of the elephant (photo saved in 2002) from which the elephant/ivory was made. I re-created the picture of it that can be used as a luxury and strategic resource in better quality.

;) I make it available for use by anyone who wants to use it:
I have uploaded the refurbished file:

unartis, your elephant resource is looking much better than the standard Firaxis resource and will be included in CCM 2.6. Thank you very much for creating these nice civilopedia icons.

Civinator, I'm glad you liked this file and found a place for it in your great work.
:) Further renovations in a similar quality are expected from me, because over the years I have created a lot of graphic files, in a similar way, I will review and share these created resources.
Maybe you'll find something else you like in them.

Thanks for sharing as well. The new natural gas resource and the ivory resource are outstanding. When I drive past Whiting, Indiana, I can see the refineries flaring off the natural gas.

Food as a strategic resources:
Food resources as a strategic resource are very important, because the future of humanity depends on its production.
I transformed the fish, wheat( or grain) and cattle known from the original Civilization III, and created a strategic resource from a bonus resource.
Pigs and poultry were not included as strategic resources in the original game, I made my own versions, it is possible that someone has already created pigs and poultry for the game, then this is another nice looking image to expand the range of those resources.

Grain, Cattle and Fish:

In the EGMII game mod, I used the largest number of buildings that use food resources:
I assigned buildings to these strategic food resources, so the basis of every agricultural building is the existence of a strategic resource.
The existence of poultry allows me to build a poultry farm and a chicken processing plant, pork also gives me the opportunity to build a pig farm and a pork processing plant within the city radius, fish makes it possible for the city that has fish to have a fishing fleet or a fish farm within its territory and build a cannery.

Hi All, :)

Happy New Year to everyone.
I brought a bunch of resources focusing primarily on fruits and vegetables. Many of them are bonus resources, but there are also strategic and luxury resources among them.

Then let's look at the fruit package first:
